34-year-old actor dies, dead body found in closed room, police said- ‘Alcohol was addicted’

Mumbai. Tushar Ghadigaonkar, the most talented and top actor in the Marathi film industry, passed away. According to Mumbai Police, Tushar was found dead in his house in Mumbai on 20 June. Police said, “A message from the police control room that a unconscious person has been found in room number 102, R4 of Ram Mandir Road, Goregaon West, Mumbai and needs a police help. On reaching the spot, a unconscious person was found lying on the ground. He was taken to Trauma Care Hospital, where the medical officer declared him dead after investigation.”

Tushar Ghadigaonkar worked in Marathi films, TV and theater. His untimely death has shocked the Marathi industry. Actor Ankur Vithlarao Wadhve expressed his grief and disappointment on Instagram. He wrote in an emotional note, “Why friend? For what? Things keep coming! We should find a way but suicide is not a way!”

Ankur further wrote, “I believe that today’s situation is strange but this decision cannot be taken. Tushar Ghadgaonkar. If you lose, we all lost.” Let me tell you, Tushar worked in many Marathi films, including ‘Taman Kasturi Rate’, ‘Bhaubali’, ‘Jhombivali’. Apart from films and TV, he was also active in theater.

Work in ‘Malal’ with Meijan Jafri

Tushar Ghadigaonkar played a lead role in the popular Marathi Sangeet Natak Sangeet Bibat Antyana. Tushar also played a role in the Bollywood film ‘Malal’, in which he played the role of a friend of Hero. Apart from the actor, Tushar was also a director. He directed the show ‘Tuzhi Majhi Yari’ and made several music videos under his banner Ghat Nad Production.
