Huge reserves of uranium and plutonium
China has a reserves of about 14 tonnes of high -rich uranium (HEU) and 2.9 tonne plutonium, which can be used to manufacture nuclear weapons in future. At the same time, China has also completed the construction of its first plutonium re -existence plant in Gansu province, which can be operational by 2025.
A huge lack of transparency, concern
The faster the nuclear program of China is growing, the more deficiency is in transparency. He neither gives information about tests in public, nor shares accurate figures. This ambiguity is a danger bell for global security, as the possibility of accidental atomic war increases even more under the “Launch-On-Warning” policy.
