CBSE Oil Board: The Central Secondary Education Board (CBSE) has further increased its awareness campaign to develop healthy eating habits in school students. After ‘Sugar Board’ initiative, the board has now recommended the students starting the “oil board ‘to make the loss of fat and oils.
Health messages will be seen in the school campus
The CBse has directed that schools should show cafeteria, lobby, meeting rooms in their campus, login or printed posters. Their purpose is to remind the students and staff that more fat foods can be harmful for health.
Picked up step in view of increasing obesity
This initiative has been made when worries are being raising about the rising matters in children and teens in the children in India. Referring to national family health surveys (nfhs-5) and CBse said the number of weights and rough people in the incoming years could increase.
Poor diet and low activity main reasons
The CBSE said that children in children consumed unhealthy fat, junk food habits and physical activities are the main reasons for this problem. In such a situation, there must be the foundation of a healthy lifestyle at the school level.
What CBSE has asked schools to do?
CBSE has suggested the schools to make it effective to make the ‘Oil Board’.
Apply Visual Indicators: Plant boards or posters in principal parts that warn about the dangers of unhealthy fat.
Include a health message in Stationery: Include small messages related to health latterheads, notepads, folders, etc.
Encourage healthy options: have nutritious food and low-fat options in the school canteen.
Inspired Activity: Inspire the children to climb the stairs, walk and play activities.
Emphasis on the active participation of students
The CBSE also said that the student’s participation would be important in this campaign. Schools have been encouraged to provide oil boards as classroom projects, and provide opportunities to design the effects of unhealthy and making awareness materials and make awareness materials.
