BMW India has launched the updated model of BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe in the Indian market today (July 17). The second generation car is larger than the current model and equipped with new features. It has features like traction control and level-2 Adas for safety.
Although the new 2 series has a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, the older model had a more powerful 2-liter turbo-petrol and diesel engine option. The company claims that it can catch a speed of 0 to 100kmph in just 8.6 seconds.
The company has introduced the car in 2 variants- 218M Sport and 218M Sport Pro. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 46.90 lakh. It is the cheapest car in the company. Its booking and delivery has been started. It competes with Mercedes-Benz a Class.
