Saregama has acquired the Haryanvi music company NAV records, giving it a 6500+ song catalog and a YouTube channel with 2.4 million subscribers. This will strengthen digital appearance.
Mumbai. India’s leading music and entertainment IP company Saregama has taken a big step in the world of Haryanvi music and acquired the Nav Records. Under this deal, Saregama will get a catalog of more than 6500 songs of NAV which includes songs from popular genre like Punjabi, Ghazal, Bhakti and Indie Pop.
The acquisition also includes popular YouTube channels such as Nav Haryanvi and Nupur Audio, with more than 2.4 crore subscribers. This will strengthen the digital appearance of Sargama.

This acquisition strengthens the presence of Saregama in linguistic areas where the company’s reach was limited till now. The purpose of Saregama is not only limited to the Museuk distribution, but to lead in each aspect of content manufacturing. The company is working on a new IP in various languages and styles. Taking another step in this direction, Saregama and NAV will jointly create new and original content in Haryanvi and Punjabi.
