CBSE: The Central Secondary Education Board has issued a new direction, which has been clarified that the 10th and 12th class board exams will be able to sit only if their attendance will be at least 75%. These instructions are part of the circular circular released on October 9, 2024 and it is aimed to ensure compliance of the EXTRIFICALS 13 and 14. The instructions have said that schools have to be registered with the right attendance every day. This register should be signed by class teachers and principals. These records can be probe by the CBS at any time.
It further said that if a student’s attendance is not regular, parents must be notified by the registered post or email. This transaction record must be protected in the school.
School recognition can be canceled
The CBSE has said that the board can be suddenly inspected. If the attendance is found in irregularities or fraud, the student can be prevented from joining the exam, and the school’s CBSE can be revoked.
In what cases will be discounts?
Exemption will be given only for specific reasons, such as: Participate in a serious family emergency, a serious family emergency, a serious family emergency, a serious family emergency or a national or international play competition. Therefore, a written application will require a written application with medical certificate / Death Certificate / Sports Authority Certificate and School Recommendation.
Last date
Full file including all documents should be submitted to the Related CBSE Regional Offices by January 7, 2026. Delayed or incomplete cases will not be accepted. Once the record was sent to the CBSE, it cannot be no changes.
