China made a computer -like computer ‘Darwin Monkey’, what will happen now know


China has taken another major step in the technology world. Scientists of Zhejiang University have prepared a computer that acts like a human brain. This unique computer is named ‘Darwin Monkey’. Its texture and functioning is similar to human brain, in which more than 20 billion artificial neurons have been used.

What is Darwin Monkey?

Darwin Monkey is a neuromorphic computer, developed by developers of Zhejiang University. Its purpose was to create a computer that could do work like thinking, understanding and decision making like human mind. This computer is based on 960 ‘Darwin-3’ chips, through which more than 100 billion synapses are formed. Sinaps are parts connecting neurons, due to which this system can process very fast information.

These are the great features of Darwin Monkey:

low power consumption:
Darwin Monkey works only in 2000 watt electricity, which makes it economical in terms of energy.

Efficiency in Reasoning and Mathematics:
This computer can solve the complex questions of logical regional and mathematics. According to scientists, with its help, the AI system can be made more smart.

Exact simulation of animal brains:
This system can simlate the structure and functioning of animals like Monkey monkeys, rats and zebrafish. This can give a new direction to neuroscience and medical research.

Use of Spring Neural Network:
Darwin Monkey uses the ‘Spicing Neural Network’ technology, which acts like biological neurons of human brain. This provides the ability to learn, remember and make decisions.

Many times advanced from old model

Earlier, Zhejiang University built a computer called ‘Darwin Mouse’ in 2020, which had 12 million AI neurons, but ‘Darwin Monkey’ is an upgraded version of the same, which has 20 billion neurons, better neurolsters and new operating systems.

According to PAN Gang, Professor of Zhejiang University, “Darwin Monkey’s design, his processing power and low consumption of energy make it completely different from existing computers. It will prove to be the new chapter of future computing.”

Where will be used?

The use of this computer will not be limited to improving AI just. It can be used in robotics, data processing, brain research, medical research and even the development of medicines.
