Lionel Messi’s visit to India has finally been approved. The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) tour of this Argentina superstar will start from Kolkata on 12 December. After this he will go to Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Delhi. The tour will end on 15 December with a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Messi will play friendly football matches with Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill in Delhi. He is coming to India for the first time since 2011. At that time Messi came to play a friendly match against Venezuela at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata with the Argentina team.

Will stay for 2 days in Kolkata According to the event promoter Satadru Dutta, Messi will give football masterclass for children in this tour to inspire the young footballers of India. They will reach Kolkata on the night of 12 December and stay here for two days.
On the morning of 13 December, he will have a meat-and-grite, special food and tea festival. Messi likes Argentina’s Mate tea, so there will also be a fusion of Argentina and Assam Tea. Bengali fish and sweets will also be served.
