Saif Ali Khan was born on 16 August 1970 in Delhi. He belongs to a royal and cinematic family. His father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was the former captain of the Indian cricket team and mother Sharmila Tagore was a famous actress of Hindi cinema. Saif did his studies at Lawrence School, Sanawar and later at UK Locker Park School and Vinchester College. However, he himself admitted that he was not much interested in studies. She married actress Amrita Singh in the year 1991, with her daughter Sara and son Ibrahim. However, this marriage could not last long and both got divorced in 2004.
