Android Calling Screen: If you are using Android smartphones in India and recently the calling screen look has changed then there is no need to panic. Actually, this change has happened due to the new Material 3 Expressive update in Google’s Phone App. With this upgrade, the design of the app and calling screen has taken a completely new look.
Big change in contacts
Now your favorite and recent contacts will appear in the same tab. Favorite contacts will be at the top of Carocell format. Recent calls or chats will appear in the container below. As before, the floating button keypad has now been removed and shifted to a separate tab below. Contacts will now be present on the top navigation bar and they can also be accessed with a three-dot menu.
New style of incoming call screen
The biggest change of new update will be seen on the incoming call screen. To receive or reject the call, now you have to swipe horizontal, not vertical. This change has been made so that there is no problem of accidentally cutting or receiving calls while removing the phone from the pocket. If you want, you can also change this setting to tap-to-sensor mode.
In-black button and new design
Mild but important changes have also been made in the buttons seen during the call. All buttons will now be seen with round corner design. The end call button has been increased to already so that it can be easily seen and pressed.
The upcoming new feature
Google is working on another feature through which a full-screen image will appear on the incoming call. It is being called a contact card and right now it is only available for beta testers. Google has started molding not only the phone app but also the Android Clock App in the Material 3 Expressive design. It will now be found in a high bottom bar and a square floating button corner, which was earlier in the middle of the round shape. Different colors will be used to highlight the alarm in the new design.
