Arattai App: The Indian company Joho’s Arattai App, which is seen as an alternative to Whatsapp, has made a splash. A few days ago, about 3 thousand users were coming on this daily, but now this number has increased many times to cross 3.5 lakhs. After the Union Minister’s appeal, people are downloading it fast and now this app has reached the first place on the store. The company has posted a post on X and told that its app has reached the first position in the social networking category.

Arattai App was launched in 2021
Tamil language words Arattai means informal conversation. Joho Corporation launched this app as a side project in 2021, but people did not pay much attention to it. Now recently, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had appealed people to support this app, after which people are downloading it a lot. This app made entirely in India like WhatsApp, features like personal chat, group chat, voice note, image and video sharing. However, it only has voice and video call end-to-end encrypted, but this feature is not available for personal chat. Joho, the company that makes it, says that privacy has been taken care of in this and it will never montage personal data.
Joho had to fast preparations
In view of the fast growing users on Arattai, the company has to speed up its preparations. Joho’s co-founder Sridhar Venu said that new users have increased manifold, in view of which infrastructure has to be prepared on the Emergency Base. Let us know that due to increasing users, the burden on the server has also increased, due to which many users are getting delayed in getting OTP, then someone is facing difficulty in sinking contact.
