Apple has given a big shock to its fans. The company has announced that it is shutting down its video editing app Clips. It was removed from the App Store on October 10, due to which new users will not be able to download it. However, existing users can continue using it, but the company will no longer release support for this app. This means that if any bug occurs, Apple will not update it, which will make it difficult to use.
New users will not be able to download
Apple said in its blog that it is not possible for new users to download this app. Users who already have this app can download it again from their Apple account, but it will not be updated. Therefore, Apple has asked users to download their Clips so that they can edit them in other apps.
Save video like this
To save a video, open the video in the Clips app. Now tap on the projects visible in it. Select the video you want to save. By swiping left on the tools, the option to save clip will appear. As soon as you tap on it, this video will be saved in the phone gallery.
Clips was launched in 2017
Apple launched this app in 2017. It was being seen as an alternative to Snapchat and Instagram. It did not have the option of social networking, but it gave users the option to edit photos and videos with filters, emojis and music etc. However, it did not get much response and Apple also did not roll out any major updates for it except bug fixes.
