Bharatpur: With the arrival of winter, the weather has changed completely. Dense fog covered most of the rural areas of the district this morning. A sheet of white fog was visible everywhere, due to which people were feeling the cold. According to the Met department, this is the early onset of fog, which may become denser in the coming days. Fog was very thick in Bharatpur city as well as rural areas like Rupbas, Nadbai, Bhusawar, Kumher and Januthar in the morning. Visibility was limited to 20 to 30 meters in many areas, causing a lot of inconvenience to motorists.

On state highways and roads connecting villages, vehicles had to drive slowly with their headlights on. Villagers say that such dense fog is rare in early November. A layer of dew formed on the fields and trees at many places, due to which the morning scenery looked very beautiful, but also felt an increase in the cold.

The cold will increase in the coming days
According to the Meteorological Department, fog has spread due to drop in night temperature and rise in humidity. Light to moderate fog is expected in the morning and late evening for the next few days, and temperatures are expected to drop further by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. School children and working people faced difficulties in rural areas due to fog. Farmers going to their fields in the morning said that it became difficult to reach their fields due to low visibility.

Now, the district administration has urged drivers to drive cautiously, maintain low speed and use headlights during morning and late evening hours. They have also been advised to wear warm clothes in view of the changing weather. This early onset of fog is an indication that the winter season is now in full swing and the weather in Bharatpur is going to be even colder and foggier in the coming days.
