When you pour water directly on your head or chest while bathing, the body experiences a sudden temperature shock. This can cause the upper part of the body to be cold and the lower part to be hot. This imbalance can cause rapid fluctuations in blood pressure.

In such a case, symptoms like dizziness, weakness or restlessness may appear. This method can be especially harmful for people with high blood pressure or heart problems. Too cold or too hot water is also considered unhealthy for the body.

Where to pour water first while taking a bath

While bathing, water should be applied to the feet first. Start with the toes, then gradually add water to the ankles, knees and thighs.
