Install Mera Rashan App (MERA RATION APP).
- First, you need to install My Ration app on your phone.
- After this, you need to select the beneficiary users to login to the app.
- Now, enter the Aadhaar number linked with the ration card and fill the captcha.
- After this, you will be able to login to the app using an OTP.
Download digital or e-ration card
- After logging into the app, you will see your digital ration card on the home screen of the app.
- This ration card will contain the details of the head of the household, i.e. the person in whose name the card is issued. On the other hand, the details of the family members will be present on the card.
- You will see a download option next to the e-ration card displayed on the home page of the app.
- By tapping on this option, you will be able to download the PDF copy of the ration card or e-ration card directly to your phone or computer.
If you want to convert your downloaded ration card into PVC card, you will need to contact your nearest PVC card printing company. While the official app only allows you to download your e-ration card, you can also print it yourself on a PVC or plastic card.
This will eliminate the risk of damaging your hard copy of your ration card and allow you to keep it better protected.
When you use your e-ration card to purchase government ration, information about which ration you purchased, the quantity and when will be updated within the app. Earlier, ration distributors used to record all these details in a book-like ration card using a pen.
However, now your details are entered into the POS machine at the dealer. This information is directly sent to the server of the State Food and Civil Supplies Department. You can also see all this information in your Mera Rashan app.
