Sources reveal that the actor is staying in a secured chalet within the production compound, with filming continuing as planned.In light of the threats, strict protocols have been implemented. The entire crew is required to stay on-site until filming wraps up, while over 60 guards are stationed to monitor the area. All individuals entering the premises must undergo Aadhar card verification to ensure strict access control.
This increased security follows a menacing message allegedly sent by a Lawrence Bishnoi gang member to Mumbai Traffic Police. The message demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan, warning of severe consequences if left unpaid. It referenced the assassination of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, which occurred a day after Salman had filmed an episode of Bigg Boss. These threats prompted authorities to upgrade Khan’s protection to Y-plus security, involving an armed police escort at all times.
Despite the threats, the production of Bigg Boss 18 continues, with two Weekend Ka Vaar episodes scheduled to air this weekend. Producers are coordinating closely with Salman’s security team to ensure all precautions are in place.
