The All Punjab Anganwadi Employees Union has announced a sit-in of the Social Security Women and Child Development Minister in Faridkot on December 3. Union President Hargobind Kaur said that the State Level Disability Day is being celebrated by the Social Security Women and Child Development Department in Faridkot tomorrow. Anganwadi workers and helpers will reach there and make a ghirao to make their point. He said that on July 11, the director of the department had assured the organization that within two weeks some of the demands of the Anganwadi workers and helpers would be accepted and this action would be taken as a protest. -Letter persuasive
