UPSC coaching teacher Oudh Ojha joins AAP

Civil Services (UPSC) coaching teacher Awadh Ojha joined Aam Aadmi Party today. AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia made him join the party. After joining AAP, Awadh Ojha said that he is attached to the ideology of the party which focuses on the future of children. He declared the development of education as his biggest objective. Kejriwal said that AAP is working in the field of education and Ojha’s joining the party will speed up efforts to strengthen education and make our country stronger. Sisodia said that this is a special day and Ojha is doing good work in the field of education for which he has dedicated his entire life. Assembly elections are to be held in Delhi in February next year. AAP had won 62 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly in 2020 and now the party is hoping for a third consecutive victory.

Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had announced on Sunday to contest the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections alone. Kejriwal said, “There will be no alliance in Delhi.”

Reacting to AAP fighting the Delhi elections alone, BJP leader Kailash Gehlot said that it seems that the people of Delhi have decided to bring the BJP to power. The alliance between AAP and Congress had no effect in the Lok Sabha elections. People of Delhi are suffering due to broken roads, overflowing sewage and other issues.

Kejriwal targeted BJP and Shah for increasing crime

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal today alleged that Delhi has a ‘jungle state’ and people here have never seen such a rise in crime. Former Chief Minister Kejriwal met a family in Narayana, two of whose members were murdered by criminals within six months. He said that recently a youth was stabbed to death, while he had complained to the police about the threat to his life from local criminals. Kejriwal told reporters that the younger brother of this young man was killed six months ago. He said, “Delhi residents have never seen such anarchy and jungle rule. Anyone can kill anyone. When it was known that people who have killed one family member can kill another, why was no action taken to stop them?” he asked the BJP and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Appealed to give protection to the residents who are feeling insecure. -PTI
