CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Who can apply for CBSE Scholarship?
Before applying for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024, it is important to check its eligibility criteria.
1- CBSE scholarship is specially for meritorious female students who are the only children of their parents.
2- To avail this scholarship, minimum 60 percent marks in CBSE 10th exam is required.
3- Applicant must be currently studying in 11th or 12th standard in a CBSE recognized school.
4- In the current academic year, the tuition fee of the school should not exceed Rs.1,500 per month.
5- A maximum of 10 percent annual increase in tuition fees is allowed for the next 2 years.
6- Female students studying in foreign schools affiliated to CBSE board are also eligible for this scholarship. Tuition fees for schools located abroad have been capped at Rs 6,000 per month.
7- This scholarship scheme is open to Indian female students only.
8- Only those female students will be eligible for this scholarship, whose total income of parents/family is Rs.8 lakhs per annum.
CBSE Scholarship Benefits: What will you get in CBSE Scholarship?
Every student applying for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship is given Rs.500 per month. Applicants should fill the form by checking their bank details (such as bank name, account number, RTGS, NEFT, IFSC code and bank address) correctly. In addition, all applications must be signed by the applicants. If the signature of the applicant is not there, the application will be rejected. If there is a mistake, there will be no opportunity to correct it.
CBSE Scholarship: There are 2 types of scholarships

1. Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2024 Scheme: This scholarship is for single girls who have cleared the 10th class board exam from CBSE in 2024 and are currently studying in 11th class in CBSE recognized schools.
2. Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023 (Renewal 2024) Scheme: This scholarship scheme invites applications for renewal for female students who were awarded the scholarship in 2023. This scholarship is renewable.
