He said that Sarpanch and Panch can change the fate of the common man and their villages by performing their duties with full responsibility and honesty. Dhariwal appealed that they should first become aware of their rights and duties by reading the Panchayati Raj Act. He said that among the elected Panchayat representatives, 50 percent women have been elected and women sarpanches and panches themselves should come forward and do the work of the Panchayat.
