The Punjab government has transferred 10 IAS and 22 PCS officers before the municipal elections. According to the list released today, Additional Chief Secretary Vikas Pratap has been given additional charge of Administrative Reforms Department and Additional Chief Secretary Alok Shekhar has been given additional charge of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Department. Ajoy Kumar Sinha will be Principal Secretary, Power Department as additional charge and Kumar Rahul has been given additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Medical Education and Research. Administrative Reforms Department and Forest Department have been withdrawn from IAS officer Sarvjit Singh.
Similarly, Priyank Bharti has been given the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Forest Department, Shena Agarwal has been posted as Joint Development Commissioner (IRD) and Commissioner of MGNREGA. He will also be posted as Director of Social Security, Women and Child Development Department. Sandeep Kumar has been posted as Additional Registrar (Admin) in Cooperatives, Sagar Setia as Additional Secretary in Higher Education and Language Department, Ravinder Singh as Additional Secretary in Labor and Harjinder Singh as ADC (General) Gurdaspur.
Among the PCS officials, Daljit Kaur has been appointed as Infotech, Rakesh Kumar as Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jalandhar, Anmol Singh Dhaliwal as ADC (Urban Mohali), Amarjit as (ADC Rural Development Ludhiana), Surinder Singh as Additional Commissioner (Municipal Corporation Amritsar). , Parleen Kaur Brar as Secretary in Punjab School Education Board, Jasleen Kaur as SDM (Ludhiana East), Preetinder Singh Bains as SDM. (Bhikhiwind), Gurdev Singh has been posted as SDM (Patiala), Ravinder Kumar Bansal as SDM (Balachore), Manjit Singh Rajla as SDM (Gurdaspur) and Chetnan Bangar as SDM (Amloh).
