A case has been registered at Police Station Sector-36 on the complaint of Mahavir Prasad resident of Colony Singha Devi, District Mohali Punjab. The complainant said that an unknown person changed his ATM card and between 26 and 29 November 2024, a fraud of Rs 2 lakh 10 thousand was done from his bank account. Mahavir came to know about this fraud when he checked his bank account information. He immediately informed the police and the police have registered the case.

Now the police is trying to identify the accused with the help of bank and CCTV footage.

Thieves also took away 11 kg of ghee and other materials

Vivek Goswami, resident of Jhampur Punjab, in Sector-39 D, Chandigarh, lodged a complaint that after breaking the lock of his booth number 219, unknown thieves escaped with 11 kg of ghee, cosmetics, grocery items and Rs 40 thousand in cash. On the complaint of Vivek Goswami, the police have registered a case under sections 305 (A) and 331 (4) BNS. Nearby CCTV footage is being examined to identify the thieves.
