Punjab Minister for Investment Promotion, Industry and Commerce Tarunpreet Singh Saund has said that to strengthen industries in Punjab, one time settlement schemes will be amended to be implemented within a month so that the way for industries and entrepreneurs of Punjab will be easier. can Saund was addressing industrialists at the formal inauguration of the 18th Punjab International Trade Expo which started in Amritsar. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is holding meetings with renowned industrialists of the country and abroad to attract maximum investment in the state. As a result, the demand for skilled youth will increase in the future. He said that Punjab is the leading state of the country in terms of ease of doing business. The Cabinet Minister said that Punjab is among the top three states of India in the surveys conducted in terms of infrastructure development.
PHDCCI National President Hemant Jain said that for the last 119 years, PHDCCI has been a partner in the progress of the country by supporting the industrial revolution. On this occasion MLA Jeevan Jot Kaur, Jasbir Sandhu, Jaswinder Sandhu, PhDCCI CEO and Secretary General Dr. Ranjit Mehta, Deputy Secretary General Naveen Seth, Chamber Regional Director Bharti Sood and Convener Jaideep Singh were present.
Handicapped and elderly will get wheel chair facility
Wheelchair facility will be provided in collaboration with the District Red Cross Society for the convenience of the disabled and the elderly at the Punjab International Trade Expo which started at Ranjit Avenue. Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar district Sakshi Sahni after visiting Pytax here today praised the Red Cross Society and the organizers of Pytax and said that this will make it easier for the disabled and elderly people coming to the fair to move around in the fair. On this occasion Naveen Seth, Deputy General Secretary of PhD Chamber of Commerce said that seven wheel chairs have been kept here, which will be available here at gate number three. On this occasion, General Manager of District Industry Center Manavpreet Singh, Regional Director of PHDCCI Bharti Sood and many dignitaries were present.
