NEW DELHI: A fire broke out near the emergency ward of the AIIMS in Delhi on Monday, reported news agency PTI quoting officials.
Officials said that information regarding the blaze was received at around 11.54am.
“Six fire tenders were sent to the spot to douse the flames,” they said.
The fire was at the endoscopy room, located above the emergency ward, on the second floor of the Old OPD, said AIIMS sources.
“All patients in the room have been evacuated,” said sources.
