Samarjit Singh, in-charge of Ghanoli police post, along with his team, is conducting strict blockades at various places in the area to crack down on anti-social elements.
In the same vein, today he checked along with the anti-riot squad personnel near the railway gate of Ghanoli, during which many vehicle drivers who violated the rules were issued challans. Along with this, he also reprimanded the motorists who are used to going in the wrong direction near Amarjoti Stone Crusher to change their habit and take their vehicles to the Rupnagar side only through the cut at the bus stand. He said that there will be no leniency with the motorists driving in the wrong direction and every person who violates the challan will be deducted. On this occasion, ASI Rajinder Singh and other police personnel were also present with him.
