Youth Rakesh Yadav of Uttar Pradesh, who returned after 8 months from the war between Russia and Ukraine due to the efforts of Rajya Sabha member Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal, has made many revelations. There one of his colleagues was killed in a Ukrainian drone attack.

His life was saved because as soon as he saw the drone he jumped into the bunker built there. Similarly, while mentioning another incident, he said that on June 17, 2024, one of his colleagues died due to a grenade explosion.
He said that it was surprising that the Russian authorities informed his family about the death of his comrade who was martyred in the Russian Army after 6 months. Naresh Yadav, who returned from Russia, and five families reached Nirmal Kutiya, Sultanpur Lodhi. Whose children are still trapped there and are still missing. Rajya Sabha member Sant Balbir Singh Seenchewal assured the families that he will take the matter to the Ministry of External Affairs and will try to raise the matter in the current session of Parliament.
Indian youth were invited with the promise of job
Rakesh Yadav, who returned from Russia, told that he and about 5 other friends along with him were called there by the agent 8 months ago for the job of home guard. But as soon as he reached there, he was forcibly conscripted into the Russian army and made to sign a document in Russian.
When he repeatedly refused, he was beaten there. He told that after 15 days of weapons training, he was thrown into the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. He said that the conditions there were much worse during the war. He said that there were several firings and bomb blasts on the battlefield, where his hand was also injured in a bomb blast.
People came with complaints from many places
Rakesh Yadav was accompanied by 5 other families from Punjab, Pune, Kashmir and UP. These families, who reached Nirmal Kutiya, handed over a letter to Saint Seechewal requesting help for the return of their children trapped in the Russian Army. Jagdeep, brother of disabled Mandeep, who is trapped in the Russian Army from Punjab, said that he has not had any conversation with Mandeep since March 3.
At the same time, the family members of Kanhaiya Kumar and Deepak, who came from UP, told that Kanhaiya and Deepak were injured in the battlefield due to the grenade explosion. Family members said that there was no conversation between them after the month of June.
People reached Saint Seechewal for the return of their children.
Seenchewal said – the matter came to light in March
While talking to journalists, Sant Seechewal thanked the Government of India and especially Foreign Minister Jaishankar. He said that the first case in this regard that came to his notice during March 2024 was that of Gurpreet, a resident of Punjab, and his 8 other comrades trapped with him in the Russian Army.
Who returned during the month of August-September with the help of the Ministry of External Affairs. He appealed to the Government of India and the Ministry of External Affairs to bring back the Indians as soon as possible, take strict action against the agents involved in this gang and provide the youth with their rightful earnings.
Russia-Ukraine battlefield was no less than the mouth of death
When Rakesh Yadav looked into the eyes of death several times during the bombing on the battlefield, he became emotional. He said that at one point he felt that everything was over and he would never be able to go back. Seeing the conditions there, he once even tried to commit suicide there. He said that there is always a danger of death there. With teary eyes he sincerely thanked the Government of India and Saint Seechewal. With whose help he was able to reach his family safely again.
Demand for strict action against agents
Rakesh Yadav said that his accounts were forcibly opened by agents in the bank. Whose pin codes were also with their agents. He said the agents withdrew around Rs 45 lakh from his account, which he had received as living wage in the army and compensation given by the government during his injury. He said that the agents have done this not only with him but with all the Indians working in the army.
