Amethi News: A STEMI care cell has been started in Amethi in response to the increasing number of heart attacks during winters. Patients are provided with free ECG, tests, medicines and even Tanectoplase injection worth Rs 40,000. So far 12 lives have been saved through this facility available in four hospitals.
Heart Patients : The incidence of heart attacks increases dramatically during the winter season. Cold causes the body’s blood vessels to constrict, which affects blood flow and increases the risk of heart attack. In such a situation, if the heart attack patients do not get timely treatment, their lives are in danger, but now there is news of great relief for such patients in Amethi. A special STEMI care cell has been set up in the district, where all facilities from immediate diagnosis to medicines and injections are being provided absolutely free to heart attack patients.
Through this hi-tech cell, the patient’s ECG and other necessary tests are started immediately as soon as they reach the hospital. The special thing is that the life-saving vaccine ‘Tenecto Place’ is also being given free of cost to the patients here, the price of which is around 40 thousand rupees in the market. This injection works by instantly dissolving the blood clot and plays an important role in saving the patient’s life. Many patients are unable to get treatment on time due to the high cost of treatment, but this will not be the case in Amethi now.
According to health department data, experts have been deployed at Amethi District Autonomous Medical College Tiloi, CHC Jagdishpur, CHC Fursatganj as well as the District Hospital of Amethi for this purpose. Where they are treated immediately upon their arrival and with their consent, their life is saved by giving them an injection like Sanjeevani, Tenecto Place.
Teams of cardiac specialists have been deployed in all these hospitals. An ECG is done on arrival at the hospital, and the results of all the tests are immediately sent to SGPGI, Lucknow, where a specialist doctor confirms the type of heart attack. On getting permission from SGPGI, the patient is immediately injected with Tanectoplase.
Dr. CMS of Amethi District Hospital. Badri Prasad Aggarwal said that since the inception of STEMI Care Cell, 12 patients’ lives have been successfully saved so far. He said the facility is completely free, from tests, medicines, vaccinations and treatment to expert advice.
Dr. According to Aggarwal, “Our goal is to ensure that no patient in Amethi loses his life due to lack of money or delay. This facility is proving to be a life saver for patients in the district.”
