A batch of ex-servicemen welfare wing district Sri Muktsar Sahib went to Khanuri under the leadership of Avtar Singh Faksar, Kirpal Singh Badin and Gurpreet Singh Khokhar. Talking to the journalists on this occasion, the said leaders said that the BJP government of the Center is preparing to impose the old agricultural laws on the farmers in a new form, which will not be tolerated at all. He said that at this difficult time, we all should put aside our grievances and be united so that the Centre’s new agriculture draft can be rejected from the beginning. He appealed to all the farmers, labor organizations and traders of Punjab to support Jagjit Singh Dallewal and reach Khanuri in large numbers. Captain Buta Singh, Naresh Kumar Khokhar, Kulwant Singh Toor, Satnam Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Darshan Singh, Gurmel Singh, Birbal, Santokh Singh, Gurmel Singh Samagh, Gurpiar Singh and Kulwant Singh Kotli were present on this occasion.
