The crop of farmers who planted wheat without burning the paddy stubble has come under the attack of pink and white rust. Sundi cases are coming to light in different villages of Mahal Kalan. The Agriculture Department is trying to replace the solution by advising the farmers to spray. Sukhveer Singh of Raisar has taken 5 acres of land on contract and planted wheat and the entire crop has been offered as red sundi and oil. The farmer said that the growth of the crop has stopped and it has started drying up. Despite spraying, it did not get resolved. Farmer Makhan Singh of Wajidke Kalan has the same problem. Today the officials of the department also visited the farm. The field of Jagsir Singh of Thullhiwal has also started drying wheat. Nanak Singh of Amala Singh Wala said that 2 acres of crops have been affected by sundi. The department has recommended a mixture of spray and urea bag per acre. This will cost about 1500 per acre. Apart from this, the yield of wheat is also feared to decrease due to the attack of sundi. Jagraj Singh Hardaspura, leader of BKU Dakonda, said that the problem of Sundi is not only in one village, but in every village, for which the government and the agriculture department are responsible, because the authorities used to take action against the farmers who set the stubble on fire, but now No summary is being taken on the loss of the farmers. He said that the government should immediately make a list of affected farmers and compensate them for the economic loss. Charan Ram, Agriculture Officer of Block Mahal Kalan, who came to visit the fields, said that the problem of sundi is being seen in some fields, where he advised the farmers to follow the recommendations of the department again.

Sundi is not dying despite the sprays

Tapa Mandi (Letter Inducer): The wheat crop has been engulfed by the pink borer. Bhupinder Singh Bittu, district general secretary of Bhakiu Kadian, said that the agriculture department is not taking the sum of the farmers. The crops of many farmers have been affected by pink blight. More effect of pink sundi is seen on wheat sown with superseeder. Despite the recommendation of the Department of Agriculture to use poisonous drugs during wheat irrigation, the pink weevil is not being eradicated. The farmers have demanded that the officials of the agriculture department should make efforts to prevent the pink blight by inspecting the crops. Farmers such as Mela Singh, Gurwinder Singh and Kulwinder Singh were present on this occasion.
