Whatsapp New Feature: META is now taking a new step towards giving all its social media platforms more connected experience. According to a new report, soon such a feature is coming in WhatsApp, so that you will be able to import your profile picture directly from Instagram or Facebook.

According to WABetaInfo’s report, this feature has been seen in the Android version 2.25.21.23 of Whatsapp Beta. Currently, some selected beta testers have got this feature and in the coming weeks it will also be made available for other users.
How to work?
Till now, users on WhatsApp could have set their profile photos only with camera, gallery, avatar or AI image. But after the new update, when you go to edit profiles, you will also see the option to choose photos from Instagram and Facebook. That is, if there is an old photo on your Insta or FB, which you now want to put on WhatsApp, then you will not have to download it nor take a screenshot. You will be able to set the same photo on whatsapp in just one click without losing quality.
Accounts will have to do SYNC
To use this feature, the user has to link their Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram accounts to the Meta Accounts Center. META started providing this facility earlier this year and now many inter-connected features have also come through it.
Meta is constantly trying to connect its platforms. Now users can share the Instagram story directly on WhatsApp and add WhatsApp button to business accounts so that customers can reach WhatsApp directly. This new feature of WhatsApp will not only make users’ profile settings easier but will also prove to be another major step towards better integration among the Meta apps.
