After this, if the matter is not resolved, then the association will also seek help from the Deputy Commissioner so that the problems of the bicycle industry under MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) can be resolved. Harsimran Jeet Singh Lucky said that we have outstanding amount of crores of rupees, which Atlas Cycle has withheld from various members of the industry since 2019. We will resolve this issue legally and ensure the rights of all members. The members present in the meeting mentioned their respective dues.
Krishna Kumar told that he had stopped payment of Rs 7 lakh from Atlas Cycle since 2017. Rakesh Sabharwal told that he is yet to receive Rs 2 lakh 62 thousand. Apart from this, there were many other members who had manufactured and supplied various bicycle parts like brakes, pedals, seats etc. to Atlas, but their payment is still pending. The head of the association also assured that all the members will be refunded not only their principal amount but also their entire amount including interest. Other members also attending this meeting included Avtar Singh Bhogal, Sunil Gupta, Manoj Dua, Jaskaran Singh, Supreet Singh, Vipin Kumar, Nirmal Singh and Ashok Singla. Everyone supported this move and expressed hope to win this struggle under the leadership of the association.
