New Delhi . Abhijeet Sawant, the winner of the first season of ‘Indian Idol’, has recently made a disclosure that has surprised everyone. He told that even after marriage, he was active on a dating app and the most shocking thing is that his wife Shilpa Sawant was not even aware of it.

Abhijeet told that once he went to America, where a friend of his told him about this app. He made a profile by giving his real name and identity on the app in fun. He said, ‘I am very curious, so I tried it.’

Were not active, but kept an eye on the app

He told that he did not use this app much, just sometimes he used to log in to see how it works. He also told that he did not meet anyone and did not do anything wrong.

Was hobby of conversation

Abhijeet told that he enjoys talking and after getting some matches, he also had a deep conversation with 2-3 girls. They believe that people can have good conversations through this app. Everything changed when his dating app profile went viral on Twitter. Then he realized that this is not right for a married man. He said, ‘Later it felt that it would not be good.’

Abhijeet told that his wife Shilpa had no information about this till now. He jokingly said, ‘He did not even know what Tinder is.’ Keeping his opinion on this matter, Abhijeet said, ‘If something is to be done, do it openly, nothing happens by hiding.’ He admitted that it is difficult to hide things.

Abhijeet and Shilpa are childhood companions

Abhijeet and Shilpa have known each other since childhood and got married in 2007. Both also participated in ‘Nach Baliye Season 4’. They have two children – Sonali Sawant and Amit Sawant.
