A young man, who was the victim of an accident at Seed Farm in Abohar about 10 days ago, died today during treatment in a private hospital in Bathinda. Due to which the old mother lost her only son and her two sisters lost their only brother.

Nirmal Kaur, mother of deceased 19-year-old Gurpreet, told that she has two girls and a boy. Gurpreet’s father died about 12 years ago, after which she moved from her in-laws’ house in Paliwala village of Jalalabad to her maternal home in Seed Farm and raised them here.
Car riders cooperated
On the evening of 24th November, Gurpreet was returning from the city to the village on a bike after working as a labourer. A speeding car hit him near Gurukripa Ashram, due to which he fell on the road and got badly injured, who was referred to Bathinda after first aid. The passengers in the car also cooperated a lot in his treatment, but this morning Gurpreet died during treatment, due to which his only support was taken away.
Here, ASI Bhupender Singh has kept the body of the deceased in the hospital mortuary. The police is investigating the matter He said that action will be taken only on the statements of the deceased’s mother.
