Police station in-charge Pramila Sidhu said that on the occasion of New Year, Sri Sukhmani Sahib was recited today for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the area. During this, prayers for Sarbat De Bhale were offered. After this, Atut Langar was organized outside the police station where hundreds took Prasada.
The station in-charge said that in the New Year, he will make every effort to make the city crime free and provide better law and order to the people. For this, police patrolling will be increased even during winter days, so that anti-social elements cannot take advantage of cold and fog. Blocks will be set up to catch anti-social elements.
