In the meeting held on Saturday evening at the establishment of business leader Suresh Satija located at Mandi No. 1, farmer leader Kuldeep Singh gave information about the main demands of the farmers. He said that farmers, commission agents and traders have a deep relationship among themselves. Abohar market is dependent on farming. In such a situation, if the farmers suffer losses due to the anti-farmer policies of the government, then the traders and commission agents will also be affected.
Farmer leaders said that the Modi government is deliberately bent on destroying the farmers of Punjab. No government is paying any attention to the day by day worsening condition of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is on fast unto death for 32 days. He said that Punjab Bandh has been called on December 30 in protest against the attitude of the Central Government. In which all traders are being appealed to support.

Business Board President Suresh Satija said that the BJP government at the Center has always been anti-Punjab and the BJP leaders of Punjab never conveyed the interest of the farmers to the Centre.
Satija said that today farmers are fighting for their rights, in such a situation all of us traders and commission agents should also support them. On which the officials of all the organizations said in one voice that they will support the demands of the farmers by keeping their businesses closed on 30th December.
