Accident: A speeding car hit pedestrians, two died, four were injured

A speeding car hit pedestrians in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur city, killing two people and injuring four others. An official said that the accident took place in Vijay Nagar area around 10 pm on Friday night.

Inspector Virinder Singh Pawar told News-Patiala that the car driver Dr. Sanjay Patel (46) has been taken into custody. He said that two pedestrians died in the accident and four others were injured. He said that the treatment of the injured is going on. According to information, the deceased have been identified as Ravi Shankar Dubey (67) and Munni Bai Sen (61).

The official said that the car driver, Patel, has claimed that he is a heart patient and has recently undergone surgery. While driving, his head started spinning and he passed out.
