wo cars catch fire after collision on Dwarka Expressway, one dead: Two cars collided on a flyover in Dwarka Sector 21 here today. Meanwhile, both the cars caught fire and the driver of one car died. According to the police, Karetta and Echo cars also caught fire after this accident.
An official of Delhi Fire Services (DFS) said that two fire brigade vehicles were dispatched after receiving information about the fire, but by the time the fire tenders arrived, both the vehicles were engulfed in flames. He said that the people in the Karetta car managed to get out in time but the person in the Eco car got stuck and died. After extinguishing the fire, his body was recovered. He has been identified as Arvind Kumar (36), a resident of Farrukhnagar, Gurugram.
Sources said that the driver of the karetta was coming at a high speed from the wrong side and the two vehicles collided with each other near Yeshobhoomi.
