The local cyber crime police have registered a case against a divorced woman and her alleged lover for allegedly blackmailing a woman by hacking her mobile phone and threatening to make her private photos viral. Inspector Upkar Singh, Chief of the Cyber ​​Crime Police Station, said here today that among the accused, Lavdeep Kaur, a resident of Jauneke, and her alleged lover Manbir Singh Manna, a resident of the same village, have been named. The victim said that Lovejeet Kaur hacked her mobile phone and demanded Rs 10 lakh from her by threatening to have her personal videos and photos. He also threatened to spread the video and photos to his family if he did not do so. Cybercrime police have registered a case against Manbir Singh and Lovejit Kaur after the allegations made by the victim of the Instagram ID created by Manbir Singh on his email ID were confirmed. The police said that raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
