Under this, after committing new crimes, criminals will be sentenced to five years. Apart from this, the government will bring the crime and policing bill, according to those who will be found to have AI pedophile manual, they can be jailed for 3 years.
Government department said that using AI will also be one of the crimes like using AI and pasting their faces on the photos of existing sexual abuse. Fake photos are also being used to blackmail children and livestream for further exploitation. During this time, the ministers also emphasized that by watching online exploitation, people can be motivated to commit crime even in real life.
Online activity inspired to commit crime in real life: Cooper
Home Secretary said, "We know that online activities of criminals often inspire them to commit the most terrible crime in real life." They said, "This government will not hesitate to take steps to ensure online safety of children and will ensure that our law puts a curb on such new threats."
In this bill, a provision of special offense will also be made against the pedophiles running the websites that shares the photographs of child sexual abuse and they can be sentenced to 10 years for this crime. The UK government said that about 5 lakh children are becoming victims every year due to child sexual abuse.
