Under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Rishi, ADC (General) Amit Bambi today held a review meeting with the officials to review the preparations being made at the administrative level for the district level Republic Day celebrations. The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that all the officers should ensure timely implementation of the entire arrangements with mutual cooperation. He said that the district level Republic Day event will be celebrated at the Police Line Stadium and during this, the units of Police, Punjab Home Guards, NCC, NSS, Scout and Girls Guide etc. will participate in the march past. ADC Mr. Bambi organized various tableaus based on the selection of cultural items, development projects, arrangements for the families of freedom fighters, arrangements for bringing and transporting school students, cleanliness and decoration of the city, security and transportation. Gave guidelines to the officials about the arrangements. During the meeting, ADC (Development) Sukhchain Singh Papara, SDM Sangrur Charanjot Singh Walia, Assistant Commissioner Upinderjit Kaur Brar, DSP Rupinder Kaur, District Revenue Officer Gurleen Kaur were present.
