Jackson: An inmass time has come to death in the American Mississippi state. Richard Garolled Jordan was sentenced to death by hijacking and murder in 1976 in 1976. Now, the Mississippi Supreme Court has said that he will be hanged on 25th June.
Richard Garold Jordan appeared against his sentence several times, but his appeal was rejected every time. His last appeal was also rejected in October last year. The Supreme Court has not mentioned in his order to give Jordan to death. The Mississippi law allows many methods of execution, including fatigue injection, nitrogen gas, electric current, or shooting.
What is the allegation?
According to the record of the Mississippi Supreme Court, Jordan abducted a woman named Advina Marter in January 1976 and then shot him in a wild area of Harrison County. After that, Jordan calls the woman’s husband, Charles Marter and lied that his wife is safe. He also asked for a ransom of the 25,000 US dollars instead of release his wife.
After considering the court order after considering all aspects, it was found that Jordan would use all legal options available to the state and the central governments. Now he will be punished for death. The last death sentence was given in December 2022 in Mississippi.
