The health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is on a death fast to fulfill the demands and promises made by the central government during the Delhi Kisan movement on the Dhaka Gujran border, is deteriorating. The farmers present here said that no effort has been made by the Punjab and Central Government to resolve the farmers’ demands or to save Mr. Dallewal while the Supreme Court is concerned. Due to this, there is increasing anger among the farmers against the government.
Farmers present here said that the arrival of farmers at the border is increasing for the success of the front. In the evening, the people of nearby villages keep watch all night. Barricades have been erected on the border by the organizers running the front. The eyes of the Sangat sitting in the pandal became moist when they came to know that Mr. Dallewal’s health had suddenly deteriorated. Meanwhile, the narrator asked the whole congregation to pray for Mr. Dallewal’s progress. Due to the poor health of the farmer leader, there is increasing anger among the farmers. Today farmers and women raised slogans against the governments.
Meanwhile, Dr. Jujhar Singh Droli, Gurinder Singh Bhangu and Narinder Singh said that due to the pro-corporate policies of the central government, agriculture is going like sand in the hands of farmers. He has appealed to all the people and farmer organizations to come together and support Mr. Dallewal on this occasion so that the government is forced to accept the demands of the farmers.
A large gathering began to gather at the front during the night
Mehtab Singh, a resident of Patdar, who was preparing langar in the front, said that due to the increase in the gathering in the front, the people of the villages are serving ration and firewood. More than 5000 people gather here in the evening in the front and go back to their villages at dawn.
Dallewal is struggling on the issue of bread: Fattanwala
Sri Muktsar Sahib (Gursevak Singh Preet): In favor of the death fast started by Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Akali leader Jagjit Singh Brar Honey Fattanwala reached Khanuri border and met the farmer leader and inquired about his health. He said that this struggle is related to the bread of their families and future generations and Dallewal is struggling for the people. Mr. Fattanwala said that the people supporting the Center and the BJP are campaigning against the farmers’ struggle. He said that the issue of peasant struggle is as important for the farmer as it is for every citizen of the country.
Appeal to the governments to solve the agricultural issues
Dhuri (Birbal Rishi): Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s former OSD Prof. Onkar Singh Sidhu reached Khanuri border to meet Jagjit Singh Dallewal who was on death fast. Expressing concern over the health of farmer leader Dallewal on social media, Mr. Sidhu said that the state and central government should resolve the farmers’ issues immediately. Talking about this, he wished for the health of the farmer leader and the peace of Punjab. It is worth mentioning that the Chief Minister’s former OSD Prof. Onkar Singh was unexpectedly removed from the post a few months ago. After several months of silence, Mr. Sidhu has appeared in public for the first time.
