For nearly a year, Meta blocked post suggestions for people who followed political accounts. This means that people who followed the political account did not receive any updates regarding the sharing of posts. However, political content will now be shown to users.
May increase problems for the X platform
Showing political content on Instagram and threads can cause problems for X, since X is a major news source. New agencies and celebrities, movie stars, sports and political people are present on this platform but in last few years X platform has lost its credibility as X has started a Paid Verification program on the platform. In such a situation, some fake people have obtained the Blue Tick by paying money, due to which the credibility of X is in dispute. In such a scenario, Elon Musk’s problems may increase.
