Network Coverage Maps: Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea are the major telecom companies of the country which continue to present new plans for their users from time to time. But now you can easily find out which company’s network superfast is going on in your area. Yes, in fact, now these companies have provided network coverage maps on their respective websites to the people, which will help customers to choose better connectivity.
TRAI instructions
For information, let us know that telecom companies have taken this step after the instruction of TRAI. TRAI instructed telecom companies to show geosytic coverage maps on its websites. These instructions have been implemented from 1 October 2024 under the revised Quality of Service (QOS) rules. Its purpose provides transparent network information to users so that they can easily choose the best network in their areas.
Where to get network coverage map
You can easily search the network coverage map of these telecom companies.
Talking about Airtel, this service is available in the ‘Check Coverage’ section of Airtel app (airtel.in/wirelesscoverage/).
Jio can also be seen in ‘Coverage Map’ section (jio.com/selfcare/coverage-map/).
VI (Vodafone Idea) will be found in ‘Network Coverage’ section (myvi.in/vicoverage).
This facility is not available at the moment in BSNL.
Telecom company gives an option of network check
Airtel offers its users to view 2G, 4G and 5G network coverage. However, some users have difficulty using it. At the same time, Jio also provides its users to check 4G, 5G or 4G+5G coverage in their area. You can avail this facility by entering an address or PIN code or by tapping on the map location icon. Jio’s map was last updated on 1 March 2025. On the other hand, VI also provides its users to view 2G, 4G and 5G network coverage. However, BSNL has not yet provided coverage map on its website.
