Aam Aadmi Party state president Aman Arora reached here today and gave 5 guarantees to the city residents in which he announced early completion of the pending works of flyovers in the city. This guarantee will be fulfilled in the next two years. This will benefit the city dwellers. Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, Minister Mahinder Bhagat and many senior leaders including MLA Raman Arora and Kalsi were present along with Minister Aman Arora. Punjab ‘AAP’ president Aman Arora said that Aam Aadmi Party is starting a new campaign for the municipal elections today. All the candidates have been fielded after taking the opinion of more than 350 senior leaders, ministers and MLAs. He said that he has worked, due to which good leaders across Punjab are leaving their parties and joining the Aam Aadmi Party. Aman Arora further said that the people of Jalandhar are requested to give majority to ‘AAP’ in the municipal elections so that they can become their mayor.
Minister Arora said that the biggest challenge for Jalandhar is public transport due to which people are facing problems. For this, 100 electric buses will be operated. AAP has promised that clean water will be provided to the people at any cost. Clean water will be supplied in every corner of the city. The parking will also be used for markets. The entire city will be covered with CCTV cameras. There are huge piles of garbage in the city. He said that the government has identified a total of 28 garbage dumps. They will be cleaned. Jalandhar being a sports hub, Balton Park will also be developed keeping in mind all aspects.
