After the farmers announced to march towards Delhi on December 6, the Ambala administration has tightened its belt to stop the farmers. Since this morning, the activities of the administration and the farmers have intensified on the Shambhu border. In the morning, almost all police stations and outposts of Ambala started gathering at the Ambala city police line. Later, on the orders of the administrative officials, a large number of police personnel reached the Shambhu border.
A heavy police force has been deployed by the administration at Shambhu border. Along with this, Vajra vehicles, heavy vehicles and JCB have also been deployed at the border. A few days ago, the administration opened the road leading to Kaithal before Shambhu Toll Plaza by removing the barricades, today again, with the help of JCB, the road has been blocked by placing heavy slabs. Bharti Kisan Union (BKU) Shaheed Bhagat Singh spokesperson Tejveer Singh Panjokhara has also released a video in which he said, “Haryana government employees have pasted a notice of Article 144 on the Shambhu front. It is clear from this that the Center has captured Punjab.
Meanwhile, the farmers said that they will march peacefully towards Delhi on December 6 for which they have collected ration. Farmer leaders say that all their preparations are complete, they will march towards Delhi as soon as they get approval from the administration.
All arrangements completed to maintain law and order: SP
Late in the evening regarding the announcement of farmers’ exodus to Delhi, Ambala SP Surinder Singh Bhauria told the media that the police have completed all arrangements to maintain law and order. He has appealed to the farmer brothers to maintain peace. He said, “There is no problem for farmers to go regularly with permission, there is a process, get permission and go.” I assure you that full preparations have been made to maintain law and order.”
