UP Teacher Transfer Rules Amendment: The UP government has made significant amendments in the transfer rules for teachers of aided colleges. Through this new system, an attempt has been made to make the process of transfer of teachers more transparent and simple. The transferred teacher will be treated as a junior teacher of his cadre in the concerned college. If two teachers take charge on the same date, the decision will be taken on the basis of their date of birth. In this case, the teacher who is older than the date of birth will be considered senior.
Service Period Limit Discount…
The minimum service period required for transfer has been reduced from five years to three years. This amendment will make the transfer process easier for teachers. The teacher will be transferred to the vacant post in the same category. It will be ensured that there is no disruption in the provision of vacancies during the transfer process. For individual or mutual transfer, teachers have to take written consent of their college management. The application will then be submitted to the Director of Higher Education.
Approval Time Limit…
The Director of Higher Education has to send his recommendation to the Government within one month of receiving the application. This timeliness will make the process faster and more efficient. Reservation system has been maintained for non-government aided colleges. The rights of the teachers of the classes concerned will be protected. The application process for transfer is likely to start soon after the release of revised rules.
This will give the teachers an opportunity to fulfill their requirements according to the new system. This new rule has been implemented with the aim of bringing more convenience and transparency to teachers.
