12 bullets have been recovered from a passenger at Amritsar Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport. The accused has been arrested by CISF personnel.

According to the information, when CISF scanned the luggage of a passenger, they suspected that there was some suspicious item in it. Then when the bag was opened and searched, 12 pills were recovered from the passenger. The accused youth has been identified as Jagtar Singh Dhillon. He was going by flight from Amritsar to Kuala Lumpur. The police have handed over the accused to the airport police station. Now the airport police is investigating the matter.

The police is also investigating the accused whether the recovered bullets are from a licensed pistol or illegal. According to the information, CISF women officers were searching the passengers going to the airport on Wednesday night and sending them inside. Meanwhile, the said passenger was going from Amritsar to Kuala Lumpur by flight number AK-493. Meanwhile, when his bag was taken out from the scanner machine, he became suspicious. When the CISF team searched his bag, 12 bullets were recovered from it. The CISF team took him into custody and handed him over to the airport police, currently the police is investigating the matter.
