In the same sequence, filmmaker Arup Sur has also released his film ‘An Idiot and a Beautiful Liar’ on OTT on 24 January.

Richa Joshi and Manav are seen playing lead roles in the film. The story of the film starts with Rahul (Manav). He is a young and honest civil engineer in Kerala. From Kerala, he starts his career in Mumbai, where he meets Sonia (Richa Joshi).

Sonia is a bar dancer. Rahul falls in love with Sonia, but Rahul soon realizes that Sonia’s life is not that easy. She tries to protect her dignity and self-respect while facing criticism from society and family. What changes when Rahul comes into her life? You will be able to see this in the film only.

Manav has given a sense of reality through his acting in the character of Rahul, where he tries to strike a balance between love and society. Whereas, Richa Joshi has played the character of Sonia very well. Both his acting and dance add a different charm to the film. Richa as Sonia has beautifully presented the struggle of a bar dancer and the tenderness hidden within her.

Director Anand Unnithan has directed the film effectively. Under his direction, each scene of the film has deep emotions and powerful dialogues, which completely immerses the audience in the story. Arup Sur’s writing has made the film even more lively, where he has not only shown the aspect of love but has also portrayed the harsh realities of the society and its impact. Shipra Sur is also the producer of this film, and she has also done amazing work as a choreographer.

The music of the film is also superb, with songs sung by Asha Bhosle, Shaan and other singers further deepening the emotions of the film. The songs express the romantic and emotional moments of the film. The background score of the film is also very impressive. Overall the film is good and deserves a 3 star rating. The hard work and passion of Arup Sur and Shipra Sur is clearly visible in the film.
