Apple gave the biggest visual update till date in iOS 26 by giving liquid glass design. People didn’t like it much and the company had to tone it down. Despite this, companies making Android smartphones have also started copying this design. These include the name of Apple’s biggest competitor company Samsung, which is bringing a design inspired by liquid glass design for its devices.
Apple inspired look will be available in One UI 8.5
Samsung will launch the Galaxy S26 series early next year. Along with this, One UI 8.5 update will be rolled out. Apple-inspired design can be seen in it. According to the leaks that have surfaced so far, many elements of this update will look like iOS.
Vivo’s operating system will also get a new look
Recently Vivo had announced that it is going to replace FunTouch OS with OriginOS 6 and it will get a new design. This design will look similar to Apple’s iOS 26. However, Vivo says that this design is inspired by flowing water.
Realme also brought liquid glass like design
Realme has announced Realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16. The company is calling this light glass design, but it is inspired by Apple’s liquid glass design. This design will be seen in Realme GT8 Pro.
The trend is already going on
This is not the first case of copying Apple’s design or features. On many occasions, Android companies have been copying Apple’s designs and other things. In the latest case, even though Apple users are not liking the liquid glass design, it did not make any difference to Android companies and brought a new design.
